About Me

So, I'm just an average guy with a hobby. I've been into photography for quiet a while now, but kinda lost interest for a while after high school, but I'm back in action. I took photography classes at Waco High in 2002 and a couple Digital Media classes at McLennan Community College before getting caught up in life and losing interest. Even since moving to Austin in 2009, I've wanted to get back into it to showcase the city and everything it has to offer, but my old camera (Sony DCS-F717) was outdated and the memory cards obsolete, so that wasn't a very good option to really show off the city. I've been fortunate enough to be able to upgrade recently to a Nikon D5100 and I cant tell you enough how enjoyable it's been to get back into it, especially with a really good entry level DSLR. I'm slowly but surely acquiring more tools and techniques to use out in the field and would really love any feedback on the shots I've posted, just be gently, I'm not a professional nor do I pretend to be, just someone with a passion and a halfway decent eye for photography.
